Kidscape is an anti-bullying charity that believes that all children deserve to grow up in a world free from bullying and harm. They provide children, families, carers and professionals with advice, training and practical tools to prevent bullying and protect young lives.
As well as Kidscape being Redhead Day UK 2020’s nominated charity, they will be at the event to be on hand to offer advice, with emphasis placed on building positive relationships, developing self-esteem and being proud of who you are.
Fighting for justice and spreading ginger joy, Gingerella is delicious, refreshing and does good for the ginger farmers, too.

In 2017, Aaron Sibley was a finalist for Pride’s Got Talent earning him the opportunity to perform on the main stage of Pride in London’s Trafalgar Square. His soul-influenced acoustic music has been played in exciting venues in and around the UK, and in 2018 his Song ‘Once upon a Time’ qualified for the Eurovision National Finals in Moldova.

‘Redheads: Coming Right Up!’ talk by Jacky Colliss Harvey – Book author
Jacky Colliss Harvey has explored red hair in all its wonderful gingerness in her two books, the groundbreaking RED: A Natural History of the Redhead and the adorable guided journal My Life as a Redhead. She’ll be updating us on all that’s new and most exciting culturally and scientifically in the redhead world.

Sheya Lily – Music
Sheya Lily is a 19-year-old singer / songwriter and actress. She is a Brit School Music graduate and winner of Eurostar Gigs prize 2018.
This will be her fourth appearance at Redhead Day UK, performing songs from her two EPs, ‘Flame’ and ‘Finding My Way’, which can be found on Spotify and Apple Music.

Redhead Day UK 2020’s live stage is in safe hands as our festivities will be led by comedian, author and TV personality Steve Hofstetter!
Hopping over the pond from the States, Steve routinely sells out his comedy shows, regularly appears on TV and has had over 100 million views on YouTube.
Oh, and he has a gingerful book, too! Steve’s new book Ginger Kid is out now, which is a series of personal essays covering “early dating, family turbulence, and the revenge of the bullied nerds”.

We’re delighted to welcome redhead Hazel back to Redhead Day UK, as she entertains mini redheads all day long with lots of singing, dancing and fun-filled games! She has years of experience as a professional performer and will be running two kids entertainment sessions during the day – sign up on arrival.
Members of the Orangutan Foundation team will share their knowledge and experience of working with the only other redheaded ape.
A must for all lovers of orangutans, this is an opportunity to get creative with art while learning more about our critically endangered cousins!

Cally is a natural storyteller, bringing her rollercoaster ride of a comedy show to Redhead Day UK 2020!
Aside from appearing on BBC’s QI multiple times, Cally has received a number of gongs for her comedy, including a Malcolm Hardee Award in 2016, the Best of Edinburgh Fringe by The Arts Desk in 2017, and the prestigious Piccadilly Comedy Club New Act of the Year in 2018.
